How to make straight lines when tufting?
1,Getting a good stretch is probably top 3 most important for a successful piece. If your fabric has lines on it use those as guides.
2,Although having it tight is key stretching the material “Straight” as possible is definitely important.
3,Imagine if fabric is stretched tightly but very wavy in a sense like an S. Your needle will follow the weave for the most part.
4,Move the tufting gun from bottom to top, slow down and practice, the effect will get better and better.
