Where Yarns Should Be for Tufting?

1, The orientation of the drawing doesn't matter; you can make it tilted, vertical, or horizontal, whichever makes the most use of the space on the canvas. The orientation doesn't affect the final result, because it's then cut out and you position it correctly.

2, The hardware being where they are, as in the metal loops being in that orientation when the frame is right side up, is super deliberate and is based off where you'd be standing when you tuft. You definitely want to keep your frame right side up and just change how you draw your image, and also don't forget to flip it before you draw it.
