How Do You All Clean Your Tufting Rugs If They Get Dirty?

Idea 1: I once washed mine in the washer and it was fine came out better than before because it mostly white and the black outline trimming had tinted it really bad, it was fine but I then told a customer his would be fine to wash and it fell apart 😂 so I guess it depends on the washer.

Idea 2: Follow general rules: suitable cleaner (ie; no bleach in it), cold water, gentle handling when wet, air-dry hung up.

Idea 3: Dry clean.
Little carpet shampoo foam on the face
Then clean the foam.
Use small sponge for that.
No water 

Idea 4: Little hand held carpet cleaner machine.
