How to start tufting for new tufters when recieved the suppliers?

I would say you just gotta go after it. You set your own limits on what art you are “willing” to do. Some things are more tedious than others.

If I could start all over again I would start with basic squares and circles to learn how the tufting gun maneuvers through the cloth. Learning how to maneuver for straight lines and curves. See what 2 strand vs 3 strand will look like, etc …

You can usually resize without software. Right in the projector by moving further or closer to the frame, or right in your photo editor.

Making your own. I use adobe, but already was into that. There’s a cost you might not want to dish out.

Another reason for software would be cleaning images. Vectors lines, clear view in the projection etc…. But you can Google some free stuff too.
