How to tuft straight lines to make square/ rectangle rugs?
Make sure your fabric is exactly straight up and down so following the weave will help a lot. I use a 2’ carpenter square when I draw out the design and measure again during tufting and before I glue.
Sketch your design to the size of your choice but do not make the box, rectangle or circle until you’re done the inside of the design then re-stretch your fabric and then do your lines.
