What spacing should look like when tufting?

1,It kinda depends on the gauge of the yarn and the amount of strands being ran. You can tell when they are too close because the yarn feels super dense and tight on the opposite side instead of being able to run your fingers through the yarn. The best way to make sure your gaps aren’t to far apart is have a un blinded window or lights behind it and you will be able to see the gaps in the light if that makes since.
2,Tight lines for same color. Keep a tad of a space in between colors for craving reasons.
