How Many Yarns Should Be Used on Tufting Gun?
1, It really depends on the weight of the yarn. 2 strands of 4 weight is what I do, but you wouldn't want to do 2 strands of 1 or 2 weight for example. Nor would you want to do to 2 strand of a 5 or a 6 yarn.
2, Maybe a better explanation is why doubling up on yarn. If its slipping out, double or triple. If you're having to making lots of small lines close together to stop it from having gaps / light leaks with 1 strand, go 2 or 3 strand.
