Is It Better To Trim As You Go Or Once For All?

1, Trimming in between colors definitely help and make carving later much easier imo. It can be a little more time consuming at first but like the rest of the hobby the more you do it the better at it you’ll get!
2, I use to trim on the frame when I 1st started. It adds a lot of time and more risk to cutting a hole in the fabric.
3, I suck at carving on frame, I’ve made multiple holes. Personally I prefer off frame carving and it’s what I’m used to.
4, There’s a lot of people that are amazing at carving in frame, I am just not one of them.
Best to try it out for yourself and see how you go.
5, I like to trim as I go and then really clean everything up after. Learning how to trim on the frame helps so much for me.
6, Personal preference. Try it both ways and see what you like best.
