Why The Wool Is Keep Cutting Off And The Tufting Canva Is Ripping Out ?
1, Tufting is like coloring do the outline of the area first, then fill with straight lines.
Fabric needs to be tight like a drum, real tight. Those lines on the cloth are guidlines, they need to he straight as possible as the machine will follow a wavey line. Hold the machine 90° to the fabric and slow pull and release the trigger like shooting. Work slow. Do not pull the machine away from the fabric until it stops completely.
2, Apply even pressure the whole time dont let the machine bounce off the fabric, practice practice practice.....
3, Wasn't applying enough pressure from the gun into the fabric at first and this was happening. Try pressing into the fabric a little more than you feel you should.
4, Your needle isn’t fully immersed into the monk cloth.
5, Make sure your tufting clothes is drum tight and press firmly when tufting.
6, You have to hold that gun to the fabric as far as it goes. And keep it firm not letting it bounce
7, Make sure cloth is tight, to NOT tuft downward and to apply a lot of pressure to the cloth. Hope that helps!
8, Turn the gun speed down!!! And always tuft bottom up!
